Windows Windows 7 or Server 2008 R2: 0xc0000225 after resizing partition
1.Select your keyboard layout and click "Next", and on the next screen click "Repair your computer" (Choose English keyboard to get the {} correct in Switzerland)
2.At the System Recovery Options screen, select your instance of Windows Server 2008 R2 OS from the list, and click "Next"
3.Select the "Command Prompt" option and type:
bcdedit /set {bootmgr} device boot
bcdedit /set {default} device boot
bcdedit /set {default} osdevice boot
Reboot the Server/Same as above then:
cd recovery
startrep
4.Click “Finish” when done, and Windows starts normally.
Remark: On Server 2008 and 2008 R2 always use Diskpart and not GUI (Enduser Method) if you don't wont to run into trouble.
